TEACHERS THE CAPTAINS

Thầy Cô - Thuyền Trưởng

                                          On podium, like control tower,

the teacher is as the captain;

Steering the boat, that is our dear class;

We - the sailors struggle day by day;

Moving forward into the ocean of sciences.

                                           Trên bục giảng - đài chỉ huy,

Cô, Thầy: thuyền trưởng;

Lái con tàu lớp ta đó, mình ơi;

Chúng em miệt mài - bao thủy thủ;

Dấn thân tìm tri thức giữa trùng khơi.

Off the coast are the wild waves;

Our small boat was still moving forward;

Thanks to our great captain, that is you;

Together we make steady progress.

Dẫu ngoài kia biển gầm sóng dữ;

Tàu nhỏ ta đâu có nao lòng;

Vì ta có thuyền trưởng oai hùng;

Và gắng sức ta cùng nhau đi tới.

In the vast ocean of knowledge, our teachers is as the captain of the ship who always stay with us side by side crossing thousand miles of remote oceans. We are gradually becoming matured today thanks to great lessons, inspiring guidance and valuable life experiences from our dear teachers at Thai Nguyen University of Sciences. We now feel more confident to step on the path to start a career and become a good citizen contributing to the development of the country.

Trong mênh mông đại dương tri thức, Thầy Cô chính là những vị thuyền trưởng tài ba luôn sát cánh cùng chúng em, vượt ngàn dặm trường thiên lý. Chúng em dần trưởng thành nhờ có những bài học, chỉ dẫn - truyền cảm hứng và chia sẻ những trải nghiệm của các Thầy Cô trường Đại học Khoa học.

We are now all fourth-year undergraduate students, who are preparing our best to enter a new and broader social environment. All the confidence, maturity and knowledge we own today bear the prints of the teachers who are like our second mothers and fathers. Words cannot express our love for them.

Giờ đây chúng em đã trở thành những sinh viên năm cuối, sắp cất cánh bay vào cuộc đời cao rộng. Những niềm tin, sự trưởng thành và kiến thức của chúng em đều có dấu ấn của các Thầy Cô, như những Cha Mẹ thứ hai của chúng em.

In the last place, we would like to send you - our great teachers - the verses, the stories and songs into which we send all of our hearts and loves for you as simple but meaningful gifts on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Days 20/11.

Chúng em muốn gửi tới các Thầy Cô những vần thơ, truyện kể hay những bài ca đầy ắp tình yêu thương như những mốn quà giản dị mà chân thành nhân ngày Nhà Giáo Việt Nam 20/11.
